| As the Operations Manger at for Russell Sage Dining Hall RPI, I am responsible for the organization, execution and operation of the Russell Sage Dining Hall, Blitman Dining Hall (FoD), Catering Department and Faculty Dining Room, a 52 seat Restaurant that services the Rensselaer Institute Community.
I arrived on Campus in 2002 with a strong restaurant background. My formal training is in Cultural Studies from LeMoyne College as well as Food and Hospitality Training at the Culinary Institute of America and Schenectady College. I was raised in the restaurant and service industries and have a true passion for providing comfort and hospitality to faculty and students alike. This passion is shared by the wonderful and talented people that I work with and is projected in our daily routines. We strive for perfection with every meal, event, and service. We are always analyzing our methods to keep our services fresh and exciting.
We aim to acknowledge Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute not only as a world renown place of innovation, learning and great discovery, but as an Institute that can harbor those ideals with a great sense of grace, class, comfort, and hospitality. It is our mission, to provide though our services, this feeling of comfort, and to exceed all expectations of hospitality services for faculty, staff, students, guests and visitors. |
